Looks like tonight's win also places Coach Wardle in a tie for sixth on Bradley's all time win list with Jim Les. Two more wins and he ties Dick Versace for 5th, he's getting into some lofty company. Bradley Men's Basketball Coaches | College Basketball at Sports-Reference.com

Game summary of the Bradley Braves vs. Southern Illinois Salukis NCAAM game, final score 48-46, from January 10, 2007 on ESPN.
I don't know how I missed that one. I do remember it, because I was there. It was an ugly game, too. That 2006-07 team was a very good team, but nearly everyone had a bad night. That team went 22-13, and played in the NIT.

Attendance was 9,201, the second highest attendance of the season.
Let's fill Carver one more time Wednesday night for Senior night. We need to honor Malevy Leons, one of the nicest guys to ever play at Bradley, and a terrific player. It will be interesting to see whether Duke or Darius choose to be honored on Senior night.

Loving the love for Linke. Kid is all heart.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Yes, it was. Bradley called a timeout in the final seconds and the game tied, and Jim Les called a play that they had practiced many times. They had a name for the play, which I am not remembering now. It involved getting Will Franklin isolated just to the right of the lane for a shot. It worked perfectly, and Will made the shot with 0.5 seconds left for the 48-46 win.

My view is that I'd like both teams to be really good! The War On 74! If both teams are really good, it boosts interest in the games they play as opponents. This helps with revenue. Also, I would think that Bradley would be better prepared for the toughest contests. How can you win against great teams in post season play, when your competition leading to post season is soft? Go Braves!!

I thought 9201 was a little low. I didnt see very many empty seats

Linke and Biliew too will be interesting. Certainly not as interesting as the other two, but it seems it’s been assumed they will both move on by many. All the sudden Linke is playing now though, albeit a limited role player who is basically in to rebound, set screens, and not mess up in every other area. Both seem to have been good representatives for Bradley off the court as well.
