We have completed the design for the new BradleyFans message board, and it should be installed sometime today or tomorrow. So don't be surprised when you see some red and white and other differences. I like the design and I think it is even a little easier on the eyes than the bright red and white template the previous board had. But there is only a limited amount that can be done with the template design beforte if starts to be distracting to the user. So we went with a subtle look, and a slightly darker shade of red which is actually closer to the red on the BUBraves.com site, and the red shade of the uniforms.
Also note that the BU Braves logo is gone. We were asked to remove that from our site so there would be no confusion that this site is not owned by or affiliated with Bradley.
One other alteration that is coming-- one technical difference this board had from the last board is that when you read the last post in a thread, there is no Navigation Bar at the bottom of the page like there is at the top of every page (it's the series of links under the vBulletin logo at the top left of the page). Some have asked if we could change that so you wouldn't have to scroll back to the top of a page to navigate back to previous sites.
This forum does have something called a Forum Jump option at the bottom right of each page which can be used to navigate back to another page, but we did feel it would make the board easier to use to add the Navigation Bar below the last post on a page, too.
So we have altered the coding of the vBulletin board software to place a second Navigation Bar just below the bottom post on each page to make things easier.
