I have a few thoughts....obviously I've been concerned about our depth all year. But more than depth, it is specifically guard depth, because those guys put the most on their legs and guard depth is so important in the Valley. I've also maintained this is the third most talented roster in the Valley even despite that when healthy. We are still healthy as a whole (I get some guys are not 100% at this point in the year).

We have looked incredibly tired and lethargic for stretches in almost every game for the last month. Is this a byproduct of our guards playing such huge minutes catching up with us? Are we just playing uninspired since our lost to Indiana St. basically took us out of the running for a repeat regular season championship?

The disappointing part is so many guys made huge strides in the middle of the year to fit that narrative of "Wardle's teams always being at their best at the end of the year," and now we are playing our worst ball of the year with a healthy Hickman and several guys are seemingly regressing. Our bad stretches also seem to often coincide with Leons disappearing in games. He has looked a little lethargic to me at times in several games lately. We usually start to turn it around when he does within a game. We need him, Hick, and Deen to be playing well to go anywhere. Hick's passing today looks like it did before his injury and all the improvements he made. He has to be better.

What has happened? We shouldn't be playing this poorly.
