Oddly we looked out of sync on offense most of the night yet still put up 85.
Congrats on Hannah for a career-high 21!!! He made it look easy to score.
His dunk where he started about 8 feet from the rim was incredible and I’d consider it one of his top 5 dunks at BU, with the one at Evansville 2 games ago slightly better than the one tonight.

Leons has made 36 of his last 39 at the charity stripe and looks super comfy there lately!

Hick hasn’t looked good at all the last 3 games.
But I have faith he will get back on track soon!

Wardle’s teams in recent years have done a great job at keeping the pedal down and not losing focus, and we’ve had many games where we keep pounding the visitors and cruise to victory. Tonight was a rarity IMO. Wardle is not big on resting starters when up big and giving more PT to young guys.

Boy those close games against Drake & ISU sting a little more down the stretch and wish we could have that Evansville game back. Just a couple bad halves from being in the driver’s seat. Still sitting pretty though. The announcer last night loves Belmont now. Repeatedly saying he has them as his dark horse. We’ll see. Just one game at a time starting Saturday and cannot afford anymore HORRIBLE 1st halves.

We will see how Belmont looks after playing Drake next week. Belmont has been playing for sure, their last two losses were by single digits and they got 3 straight wins, although one of those was against Valpo so it doesn't mean much at all. Prior to the previous 5 games all of Belmont's losses were by pretty significant margins...they definitely can score though so I think that gets peoples attention.

Young and talented Belmont team. We took care of them early and Duke was on fire, or else our home game vs them would have been pretty tight. I also liked the Bruins as the MVC darkhorse even before the announcer mentioned it last night.

Belmont is not good on defense which is why they lose games.
