Looking at Indiana States remaining schedule, it would not surprise me if they win out. Stranger things have happened though. Hope we do not look past our next game and look forward to Drake. That will be a great college basketball game. If we can pull that out then we sit in second place. Hope we can meet Indiana St. again in St. Louis. We owe them a loss so we can get the automatic bid. Sounds sweet. "Go Braves"

I still am holding on to hope that we get consideration for an At-Large should we finish 15-5 or better in conf. and reach the Arch Madness final. I think if we win our next 2, we'll have earned a spot if the reg. season ended.

The only chance is if we split with Drake and win the rest of the conference games and then play on sunday in St. Louis I think. Sweeping Drake would clearly help but I am not expecting that. If we can beat Drake at home and win the rest of the conference games we should be in pretty good shape. It would be great if we could meet against ISUb on saturday in St. Louis, beat them, and play Drake on Sunday. I think that would be the best scenario for the conference as a whole.

That said, we could definitely see 3 more losses in conference play. I am hoping for at least 15-5 but 14-6 could happen. Playing at UNI and MOST is never easy. And SIU is still a pretty good team.

Unfortunately I don't think there's even a remote chance Bradley gets an At-Large bid. Things would need to fall perfectly for the Valley to get 2 teams in and that would include ISUb losing in the Championship game to either Drake or Bradley. Currently Southern Illinois is the 4 seed, and if ISUb gets bounced in the semi's by SIU, there's no chance they get an At Large bid. Best case for the Valley to get 2 teams in is ISUb runs the table to the MVC Championship game and then loses a close game to the winner of the semi's between Bradley and Drake.
