You have to give it to Kent and Schertz. Jayson has been fantastic. I wish he had done it at BU but good for him. By all accounts a good young man. But I’ll cheer like heck against them when we play them again. Best answer for valley is for them to win out and then lose to us in the final.

He has gotten much better this season, he also is playing more inside for them as far as the 4 position. He played the 3 for us because he was not that good as a freshman and not that strong of a rebounder.

A lot of talk on X (twitter) saying InSU and Drake should both be tourney teams. Hope our boys are watching it and using it as fuel for the rest of the season. Make them respect us boys.

Not wrong. Ideally this could be a rare 3 bid conference year for the MVC. If ISUb wins out and loses on saturday in St. Louis they "should" get an at-large. Then if Drake and BU split and win out until sunday in St. Louis with BU winning, could see 3 bids possibly.

I don't disagree. In that scenario it SHOULD be a 3 bid league. But they'd find a way to exclude one of the three. It's all about the big boys ya know.

I am surprised at that Murray State -Northern Iowa score. I have more respect more for that program than what that score shows

They will not give the Valley 3 bids whether it is deserved or not, they might just screw it up again and only give one. Those losses because Connor was out with his injury are hurting our chances because I guarantee they will not consider that in their conversations.

Obviously can’t take any MVC game for granted…. Yet with their schedule, InSU is positioned to lighten the playing minutes of the starters for the rest of the schedule (to be somewhat fresher heading into MVC tournament.

After Indiana State's big win over Drake last Saturday, it appears someone stole two of the team's time-out chairs- https://twitter.com/IndStManagers/st...35617948840054

I agree with you.I dont think they have much of a bench. Also I think should they make it to the championship game on Sunday the stress of being in that position will bother them more so than Bradley if Bradley is playing them. I think last year that is what hurt Bradley when playing Drake. Drake had more experience playing in a big game like that. They handled it better than our guys
