Anyone else worried that we wind up losing 1 of our next 2 road games? Maybe I have that bad-feeling vibe of Valley road games under our last 2 head coaches. This is the Redbirds' Superbowl.

Honestly, I'm not all that worried for two reasons:

1. The Indiana State game was also played up like their Super Bowl and they played extremely wUell and we still were a possession away from winning. The "other" ISU isn't in their stratosphere for talent.
2. The response post InSU loss was really good. I could have seen a lot of teams having a big letdown after last Saturday and we responded very well against a pretty good UNI team.

Yes, anything could happen in a rivalry game but I'm less concerned than I was last year even with us arguably having a better team. (The Evansville game COULD be a trap game coming off of a rivalry game, especially if we can dominate.)

Unrelated, when did we change the term "War on 74" to "Battle for 74"? I see quotes as recently as 2021 where even Coach Wardle called it the War on 74. Are we doing the whole, "can't use war analogies anymore" thing? (Sorry if I missed a discussion on this previously.)

I will say this again, we are better then them and need to prove it tomorrow. We have more talent period. We just need to play great defense and score in the 70"s.

its seems like every year the few traditions we have slowly disappear. When was the last time they announced standing at the start of the half until the other team scores. I don’t know if it’s due to turnover in the department, or the staff trying different things to creat a “fresh” new approach that will boost attendance.

Yes, this a must game to keep pace for top three in the standings. Drake is playing Indiana St. later today. Root for Drake to defeat Indiana St. Depends on how these other games play out. So still a chance for Bradley to take it all. "Go Braves"
