Refs think they have to get involved in keeping ISU closer now, two back to back and 1 fouls that should have never been called...

It’s been a while since a Malevy big offensive game (first 20 point game this year). Nice to see him and Hannah carry the load from the post. We’ve haven’t had too many games where our post strength carried us despite our depth and players there. I don’t know if this was our best game, but we played solidly enough and are better than them. Deen and Hick were solid and Burch did some nice things on offense.

Davis is becoming quite the defender and I think could be a solution at the 4 next year after losing Leons if he keeps improving his rebounding. He needs to work on what to do once he picks off a pass and breaks ahead though, there’s been a few times this year he’s made the wrong choice on those.

Always good to beat ISU and nice to see no “trap game” effects.

Relatively easy wire to wire win by Bradley
          Final score: Bradley 73 ISU 60 - https://stats.statbroadcast.com/mobile/?id=485077

Great game by everyone, especially by Malevy Leon's, 23 points on just 10 shot attempts (8-10, 4-5 from three). And Dari us Hannah with 18 points, on just 9 shots.

          Bradley is now 17-6, 9-3.

The only bad thing is we are not closing games out as the last 4 minutes of the Murray St. game and this one we were outscored by a lot.

This was the most stress free game at ISU I've ever been to. We were able to basically cruise the second half and conserve energy. Let’s win at UE and not overlook.

Would have liked more than a 13 point win

I concur, but huge leads tend to turn into milking some clock and not having an offensive flow. The "attack" just kind of comes off. Its ok to happen with leads that big imo.

The only reason the 25-point Bradley lead got cut down to a 13-point final margin was because ISU's Malachi Poindexter came off the bench and went wild with 16 second half points, going 5-8 overall and 4-5 from three in the 2nd half. Coming into the game, Poindexter averaged just 6 ppg, and was shooting 20.3% on the season from three (14-69). So he had a career game he can tell his grandchildren about, but it didn't change the outcome. Bradley still won by double digits. And the reason it didn't change anything is because Bradley slowed the game down, and limited the number of possessions ISU could have down the stretch, so if someone got hot like Poindexter did, there wouldn't be enough time for a full comeback. That was the right way to play those final minutes.

Not often a team shoots 50% from 3 and loses (badly). Great game for the Braves and a good showing for BU at Redbird arena. Pretty sure we were louder than the ISU fans.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Yes we were in control I just wish we would continue to step on opponents throats and not allow them any opportunity to close the margin of victory. It definitely was an impressive win and the Bradley crowd was louder because the ISU supporters had nothing really to cheer about since we led start to finish.

DC, I know my opinion doesn't count but I hate to see them go into a stall. Bradley was not having much problems up to them scoring on ISU. We had four players standing watching a 5th dribble the ball and then force a shot up as the clock run out. ISU narrowed the score more in this period than it had before.

However, it is Wardle's call to make.

Went back to rewatch. Yes, we were burning clock and waiting until deep in shot clock to shorten the game, but we were getting and making good shots even so throughout. Our effort stayed high on D as well…ISU just went into desperation mode and hit a lot of tough shots late. Yes, I would have loved ISU to suck just a little more and see us win by 35 too, but the reality is ISU kept playing hard and legitimately earned a decent comeback. Luckily it didn’t come close to mattering in the result.

I dont care how much they win by.. 1point...as long as they win because at the end of the year it is still a " W " in the win columun
