As hot as Duke was in the 2nd half, I would have liked to see him get shots on those last couple possessions of regulation. I don't know what the final broken play was with Hannah heaving up a shot while falling down.

And despite the announcers saying a couple times that it was a "sellout", it was not.
Dave Snell commented that there were clusters of empty seats around the top of the arena.
And the official attendance was 8,223, nearly 1,000 fewer than the arena's capacity.

Tonight was a big game for them and mid majors don’t have these kind of top 100 first place battles often at home. It felt like Drake for us last year, albeit a month earlier. I have no problem them celebrating a big win at home. I don’t think it would have been any different it if was in Peoria reversed tonight and it’s not because it’s ISU, it would be because it’s good teams (whoever they are) battling for first.

I just don’t think we’re the Super Bowl for every team in the Valley either. Teams are circling us now after proving we are good, I don’t think they’re circling us in October saying we have to attend this game no matter what. If there is a team that deserves that title it might be Drake, if anyone. In fairness, I think he just meant we get everyone’s best and was a little salty after a tough loss, but I just thought it was interesting to say.

Yep, I said the same thing, especially because this wasn’t Hick’s best ball handling game. I wouldn’t have had him handling it there.

Proud tonight that we gave Indiana St. A great close game. Bradley in no words said to I.S.U. that when we play you again come tourney time, we will be a very tough 3rd time out! It is very hard to beat a good team 3 times in the same season! I'm also Happy because if Indiana St. Keeps rolling, they will have a great chance for an at-Large NCAA bid! I would love the Valley to get 2 teams to the field of 68!!!! I do believe we can beat them in St.Louis!!! 1 game Nuetral sight will be up 4 grabs!! Will follow the rest of the season and then Arch Madness I believe will promise Great Games! I just hope Bradley can Win it!!!!

With 23 seconds left, a screen for Hickman just across midcourt could have provided better opportunity to move play forward.

Is Jonovich in the doghouse? I can’t remember the last time we saw him in. I thought they’d use him to lean on Avila and maybe hack him a bit to keep him off his game, but he didn’t see the floor.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

The only thing I would have changed is not taking our last timeout after Kent tied the game. We were pretty much scoring on just about every possession so we gave them a chance to set their defense up by taking that timeout. I would have liked Deen or Leons to get that last shot out of our offense.

He is not ready , he needs to improve a lot of things if he expects to play at this level.Thomas is better.

Really disappointing loss tonight and I agree that Duke probably should have had the ball in that situation at the end of the game but this team never backs down from anyone and I like our chances of finishing strong the rest of the way.

Jonovich has not gotten off the bench in any of the last 3 games Tommy.

Disappointing loss. Absolute battle from both sides. I said this after the InSU game in Peoria and I'll say it again. Avila is the most protected big man in the Valley. I counted at a minimum 3 extremely questionable soft calls he got. Only to watch our boys get absolutely bodied on the next position while the refs choked on their whistles. I don't understand it and it absolutely altered the outcome of the game. That being said both sides battled hard and it was a fun game to watch. The trees are a solid team. Over the last 11 games we have proved to be a solid team as well. Let's start the next winning streak.

Reminds me of a certain center at a certain program we don't speak of anymore since they bolted the Valley a couple years ago ...

(I actually don't think he got too much preferential treatment other than when he literally shoved someone out of bounds for a rebound late in the game and that turned into a transition 3.)
                            Go Braves!

Tonight we showed we are up in the top 2 or 3 of the league. Predict this loss makes us hungrier and we improve off of it. On to the next win streak.

I guess the two four point plays played a huge part in my mind. I thought they were going to call the flops more this year? It sure didn’t happen tonight. One for sure was but it sure pushed the extra space for them for the rest of the game.
