All these games are close. Could we luck into an upset tonight?

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Refs let Brodie bully his way to the basket which is impossible to stop for a guy his size if they don’t call it.
Agregious to let a 9th year senior get away with that crap!

Drake loses in 2 OTs to Missouri State 83-80- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...meId/401601860

Looked like Missouri State had a bigger crowd than usual with a pretty good student turnout.

Bradley is now tied for 2nd place with Drake- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...ngs/_/group/18

Tonight...made ISUb and Drake look more beatable. Hoping tonight was a "down" night for BU and we get back to crushing like we had been the previous few games, and get this win streak to 10+

Big time kudos to Dana Ford and his MSU Bears for being able to preserver and win this game in Double OT after getting hammered by their AD, losing 4 of their last 5 games, 3 of them by over 20 points, and in the first half of this game was outscored 27-11 in the last 15:00 to trail 42-29. They could have easily folded the tent but kept after it, was still down by 8 with 5:00 to go, and outscored Drake 14-6 the rest of the half. Drake missed a 1 and 1 with 17 seconds left with the Bears getting the rebound. The Bears didn't call timeout and got the ball to Alston Mason, who ended up with 36 points. Mason missed an open 3 pointer to win the game but Nick Kramer got the rebounds and made a 5 footer with 1 second left to tie it up. In the first OT Drake scored the first 4 points then MSU scored the next 6 to go up 71-69 with 1:00 left, their first lead since 18-15. Darnell Brodie tied it at 71 with :48 left. Mason committed a turnover with :23 and after a timeout Drake couldn't get the ball to Tucker DeVries but actually got off a five foot driving shot by Conor Enright that rimmed out at the buzzer. In overtime #2 it was the Bears who scored the first 4 points then Drake scored the next 5. A 3 by Cesare Edwards gave MSU a lead they wouldn't give up. Drake had some chances but Darnell Brodie was 2-4 from the FT line and MSU was able to close it out. There were some incredible stats in this game. DeVries, who played all 50 minutes and had 18 first half points, had ZERO points the rest of the way. He had just 1 shot in both overtimes. The Bears were 33-83 overall and 11-28 from 3 and just 6-12 from the FT line. They also had 53-42 rebound advantage, 22-10 offensively. Both teams had just 11 turnovers and no one fouled out which is rare for a double OT game. WHEW!

Reminds me that the all time NCAA record for the most minutes played in a single game is shared by 2 players who played in the same game, and it has a Bradley connection that most fans here already know...
Bradley forward Donald Reese and Cincinnati guard Bobby Austin each played 73 minutes out of a possible 75 minutes in the 7-overtime game between the two schools on December 21, 1981 in the final season that Bradley played at the Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse. Unfortunately, Bradley lost 75-73 to Cincinnati in what is still the longest NCAA game ever played.
These records may never be broken now that the shot clock prevents teams from holding the ball for long periods to take the final shot of the overtime period. Check out the scores for each of the 7 overtime periods below.

That was a long game to sit through. Each team playing not to lose.
