    Evansville at UNI- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...-aces-panthers
Evansville leading scorer Ben Humrichous is out for tonight's game. Evansville beat UNI back on Dec. 2, 91-89 in overtime at Evansville. But UNI is a 13.5 point favorite tonight.

    Belmont at Illinois State- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...ruins-redbirds
Belmont beat Illinois State on Jan. 10, 67-60 in Nashville. They have lost 3 straight games since that win. Illinois State is rated a 1.5 point favorite tonight in Normal.

    Both games are on ESPN+

Both home teams winning tonight. This pretty much takes Belmont out of the running for a top 4 spot and Ill. St. has played themselves out of a bottom 4 spot with Mo.St. taking their place. Ford more then likely out after this season.

I am surprised Illinois State beat Belmont. I thought Belmont was a pretty good team. They could catch fire and beat anybody

at the end of last season, their AD expressed confidence in and backed Dana Ford.
However, that is not the case now, as his public comments in the middle of the season were somewhat less than supportive.

It is reported that at the end of this season, the buyout for the remainder of Dana Ford's contract (1 more year) would be only $182,496
That is perhaps the smallest "buyout" you'll ever see at the Division I level, so it will be tempting for the University to "pull the trigger".
Just about the only thing that could save Dana Ford would be to win at least 12 or 13 of their remaining potential 15 or 16 games.

Me too somewhat. But Belmont is slumping a bit while ISU is capable of good nights and bad. The lower section of our league seems stronger than usual. I think this showed in the noncon too.

plus unfortunately for us, Dan Muller is gone.
            Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

I don't think anyone can believe Dana Ford has lasted this long, but I'm rooting for a contract extension myself! If not, maybe they can go out and get an up and comer like say, a Geno Ford from Stony Brook. He's done wonders tearing down that program in the short time he's been there and could help do the same thing for Missouri State.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Lol I tried to wipe Geno from my memory completely, but you are so right. All he has done is wrecked Stony Brook's basketball program over the past 4 years. From 20-13 to 11-22 in just four seasons, and 9-10 so far this season!

Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

Right! I mean, the guy is a millionaire! If you want to pay someone that much money to destroy your program, give me a ring! I'll do it for half the cost!
