After a lot of talk of Morrison going to Arizona State, he is now enrolled at
Grand Canyon University, a D-II school in Arizona.
He is eligible to play right away and is a senior. he is trying to get back an extra year of eligibility because of illness last year, but he played in enough games that he is NOT qualified for an automatic medical redshirt and is going through a process of appeals with the NCAA.
This report from Arizona Preps says Morrison will have two years left to play, but that is wrong unless
he wins his appeal to the NCAA. Morrison played two years at junior college (Redlands) and played in 10 games last season at Creighton, too many to automatically qualify for a medical redshirt. He now has only one year left, but still could get one more if he is granted an extra year by the NCAA on a hardship claim due to his illness while at Creighton.
