LOL Racer - they showed toughness and played decent for the way that Bradley has dominated its latest road foes. Gotta be tough for Murray to have lost practically all contributions and a Top 25 team, and they'll be a contender sooner than later in the Valley I believe.

Yes they do! Not a load of talent right now, but wait for them to restock and it's off to the Races for the Racers!

Thank goodness we have Murray State because the rest of the league additions have been utter trash (looking at you UIC and Valpo). Murray will be dominant again. They have a great basketball tradition.

I like Belmont. UIC has been more impressive than I expected honestly. Valpo has been utter garbage and I hope they get kicked from the conference asap.

We had problems scoring in the second half after we had an 18 point lead and decided to take time off the clock. We were pretty much out of sync at that point and had trouble scoring for a lot of minutes.I wish we would have kept attacking them on offense because I felt if we had we would have scored 80 plus points.

The offense definitely got way out of wack and it was just pot shotting threes for like 5 mins straight there towards the end of the half. Definitely don't like seeing that show up much.

I don’t understand why we didn’t drive into the basket more than we did. We had the height advantage over them and it appeared Darius was having success getting the close up shots. Might have lead to a few more free throws also.

Hannah wasn't playing well in the 2nd and turned it over inside quite a bit, I think they went away from using him inside at that point, but then they just kinda of sat back around the perimeter instead of anyone else penetrating.

I seem to recall a pretty good amount of drives into the lane leading to baskets, by Hickman, Leons, & Davis. The stats show Bradley with 34 points in the paint, which is a pretty good number for a game in which they ended with 71 points.

One thing I noted last night, Bradley played a smaller lineup more last night than they usually do. There were several stretches where Hickman, Deen, and Burch were all 3 on the floor at the same time, along with Leons and Davis. And that lineup worked well and built the lead to 16 points in the 2nd half.

Thanks for pointing that out. I seem to remember all of the missed shots but not the ones we made.

Definitely one of the reasons Murray State gave us some problems. They go with that 4 guard lineup, so they can present matchup problems for us. I though we did our best when Thomas was in there knocking away shots with Darius and Malevy.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

First off credit to Murray State for making a comeback in the second half. It was 65-51 with 8:45 to go and we went scoreless for 5 1/2 minutes because we didn't look to get the ball inside or try to drive the ball to the basket. We missed 5 straight 3's and none of them were in the flow of the offense. That's when we go on these scoreless droughts. I thought this was always going to be a tough game because of how hard the Racers play. There's just no let up in them and I hope we don't run in to them in St Louis\ unless it's in the championship game. Now lets go get us a double digit win streak on Saturday. No question it's going to be tough to try and get a win in Terre Haute. Isiah Swope has had 8 games over 20 points with a season high 30 in their last game against UIC. Robbie Avila is just a bad matchup for us because he can shoot 3's as well as post up. In his last 5 games he's averaged 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. I'm guessing we'll be seeing more of Thomas because of his better quickness than Meta. I've been really impressed with Jason Kent, The former Brave leads them in rebounding and in his last 6 games he's averaged 10 rebounds and 14 points. Excited and nervous for this game. Get er dun boys!
