That game was our first loss of the year and was just a bleh effort on both ends. They were overly physical with us and we just didn't respond very well. When we tried to respond we got called for a foul and every time it seemed to be when they were shooting it. Never a good thing when the other team makes more FT's then we shot but Murray was 20-26 while we were just 9-17. We also didn't have one of our better 3 point shooting nights as we were 7-21. Hopfully and I expect we'll see those 2 stats turned the other way.

Why?It is national coverage on national TV. From a personal standpoint I like games on ESPN Plus because I can re-watch games later . I cant on CBS Sports but the national coverage is good

Can you call it national coverage when you have to pay for the service? To me national coverage is broadcast television that you can watch for free.

Nothing is really free anymore. You can also record games on CBS sports if you want to re-watch them.

I really gotta get up to Peoria for a game, one of 5 valley schools I haven't been to a game yet.

At least with CBSsports I can count on being able to go out to a local Bar and catching the game on TV as only a couple will play streaming games.

Murray is Jekyll and Hyde right now. They play solid defense, with some rotations GREAT defense, but they can't score consistently, because they have a tendency to get real selfish on offense and have bad possessions. The defense keeps them in games and the Racers can score in bunches, if they string off a run, they can be real trouble. Lately UNI and Indiana St kept Murray from ever going on a run, and inexplicable substitution patterns where they take out a starter who is doing everything for you, 4 minutes into the 2nd half and don't put him back in until 8 minutes left when you find yourself down 10....twice paired with some of those bad possessions lead the Racers to being 2 - 2 at home and 3 - 1 on the road so far in MVC play. I expect a competitive game inside of 10 points the whole way.

Welcome RacerHistory... It looks from the stats, that 3-point shooting has been a weak point for this year's team. They rank 9th in the MVC shooting just 32%, and their 3-point defense is 12th, allowing 36% on threes. Bradley has been shooting extremely well in their 8 game winning streak, so unless the Racers can guard the perimeter better, I like Bradley's chances.

Murray State is very physical, but they are typically very good at home and sketchy on the road. So far, they’ve won 3 road games against Evansville, Missouri State, and UIC. Draw your own conclusions from that, but unless the refs call a completely one sided game, I don’t see a close game on Wednesday. I’ll be surprised if we don’t win by 20.

I wouldn't be surprised either, but the Racers can defend the three, when they want to. There is also still way to much of the team that got pasted by 38 to y'all last season so there's that. Really just depends on how selfish they are feeling Wednesday.

We'll see but I bet Vegas opens 9.5-10.5

Because one game a year I want to watch doesn't justify paying for it. I'm OK paying for ESPN+ because of the number of BU and MVC games they run, as well as some of the other content they have. CBSSN doesn't measure up to that. But I guess it's the price the MVC has to pay to get the MVC Championship game on CBS Network every year.

I'll eventually have everything up on Youtube and Rumble, but that doesn't help when you want to watch it live.

Well, I'm wrong more than I'm right. I just love to give my honest opinion whenever it hits me.
