        Great game by Mast!

Also, no way Edey is an NBA lottery pick. He is waaaay too slow, will not be able to defend in the NBA, and can't shoot from outside. He will be lucky to be drafted at all.

Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

OK, maybe drop the word "lottery", though he will get drafted.
Edey was last season's Big Ten Player of the Year, and this season's Preseason Big Ten Player of the Year. He currently leads the Big Ten in scoring, rebounding, and field goal percentage.
He was also last season's consensus National Player of the Year (by Naismith, Associated Press, John Wooden, Oscar Robinson, NABC, and Sporting News)

When Mast left many here (including myself) thought he would be a bench warmer. Nice to see he proved us wrong. I’d say he’s accomplishing his goal of competing at a higher level.

When is Nebraska going to do what the professional teams do... compensation or a player to be named later for Rienk Mast?

Sounds like Mast has been playing well. Makes it sting even more than he's not here. Go BU!

All of the MVC transfers to B1G are doing well (Mast, Domask, Krikke, Jones). Has to hurt 2x as bad for SIU...

Belmont's 6-10 Even Brauns was also a key player there at Belmont...
and he also transferred to Iowa thinking he'd maybe get a chance for the kind of playing time
Krikke is getting. But, not so - he is DEEP on the bench, getting only a couple minutes of garbage time
every now & then... less time even than some walk-ons, while Iowa Freshman Owen Freeman is now a starter.
Brauns only has one year left, so it'll be interesting to see if he stays there at Iowa.

If Edey isn’t a lottery pick he will definitely be drafted early…

If he was going to get drafted early he would have went into the draft last year. He knew he doesn't translate to the NBA, that's why he came back. The NLI at Purdue was better than going pro.
