Does anyone have a guess why this game is at 3:00 pm on a Saturday? I cannot recall ever having a home game at 3:00 pm on a Saturday.
There are no other events scheduled at the Civic Center Saturday that would explain why the game wasn't a 7:00 pm game.

Bradley is coming off their 86-61 road win at Valparaiso Wednesday night, and Missouri State is coming off a 64-62 home loss to UNI Wednesday.

Another must win. I am hoping our freshman can figure out how they can become better scorers. Burch needs to drive and hit pull up jumpers, Atlason can score by getting more open 3 pointers yet he can also drive and get to the rim at times. Those 2 have the ability to score the ball more then they have recently. It would take the pressure off the veterans to score too much.

Because Bradley started 0-2 in MVC play, it feels as if every game is a must win! Last year I believe we only lost 4 conference games to win the MVC at 16-4. I'm gonna guess that this year it will probably take no more then 4 losses again to win the Valley...However, maybe 5-6 losses with a winning tie breaker can get you a top 4 seeding for The MVC tourney in March....will see....Indiana State looks very Capable of winning the Regular Season outright and may even do this with less then 4 losses!!!! But Winning the Regular Season does not Guarantee a at-Large Bid which makes The MVC tourney that much more important! I hope Bradley can win the MVC tourney and with a top 4 spot and a 1 game elimination, I believe Bradley would have a fair shot if they're playing well come March! Now we must defeat MSU today and continue to win most of the remaining Valley games! How consistent can Bradley play great the rest of this year? Will see starting later today!

Nice win. Great performances by Connor Hickman (leading scorer, 25 pts), Darius Hannah (19 pts, 7 rebounds, and several thunderous dunks), Demarion Burch (11 points), Duke Deen (team-leading 7 rebounds), Davis 9 points, Leon and Atlason both with 6 points and great defense, and nice contributions from everyone else.
Bradley outrebounded MSU 41-22.

Great W on our home court this afternoon. The last two games we have shown the kind of intensity on defense that wins games. Defend and compete. We did both well the last two games and the results speak for themselves. A confident Hickman is a fun thing to watch...same with Hannah. Leons has been quiet offensively the past two games but he hasn't needed to score. That's okay. Great effort all around today.

On a related note, there was some really bad officiating in Peoria today.
