Valparaiso leading scorer Isaiah Stafford, who averages 16.2 ppg, is out and not playing in today's game. He is reported to be day-to-day with a knee injury suffered in their last game December 19 against Samford. Valpo, picked 12th in the preseason MVC poll, has lost 6 games in a row.
After today, their next game is January 3 against Bradley. -

Valpo was down by 17 points early in the 2nd half, and came back to get within 2 points with about 5 minutes left. But then Elon, who shot 53% for the game, scored the next 8 points to pull away again and hold on for the win.Comment

Former ISU guard Antonio Reeves played 34 minutes for Kentucky, despite the blowout, and had a game-high 27 points.
