It came out a little overly dramatic and not really very informative. Let me know if you like my pregame summary above, or this verbose version by ChatGPT...

ChatGPT certainly has a way with words, if not accuracy. Maybe if Bradley's PR Department used ChatGPT they would substantially increase attendance at Carver Arena.

Artificial, yes. But not intelligent. I think we are ok for a while yet.

I'm hearing Connor is doing much better and we could see him in uniform tonight and maybe get some action.

I have mixed opinion on this decision… pending the health of his ankle. If he is completely healthy and good to go… it will be fantastic to have Hickman back on the court!

Cons: Hickman’s health is a big key to our success, I don’t believe this game(or our next game vs. Valpo) is worth the risk of re-injuring if tender or not 100% (Hickman is a pretty tough young man & will attempt to play through discomfort). We need him full strength for the rest of the season starting on Jan 6th…

Pros : it will take some time for Hickman to get back into the flow of the offense & team rotation… so the next couple games are a great way to work through those adjustments.

Let’s have a good game & get our team confidence back starting tonight. Go Braves

I think this is the thinking. I wouldn't expect to see him play for any long stretches, but it will depend on his condition.

Hope he is able to play some tonight just to get some game action before we start back into conf, games. We need him on both sides of the floor. I also hope coach is able to settle down more and quit going crazy on the sidelines when a player makes a mistake. Players will make mistakes and he cannot expect perfection out of them especially since he has 3 guys that are virtually new to D-1 basketball. Atlason, Burch and Jonivic. Hard to get into any flow when you are constantly getting pulled in and out of games in a 3 minute or less period.

The doctors will not let him play if they feel it will hurt him

Connor in uniform and looks good shooting. Get some playing time and see how he does.
As BF124 said the Dr's aren't going to clear him if they weren't pretty confident he's ready to go.
