First 6 games I thought this was a legit top 25-30 team. Some of the best basketball I’ve seen Bradley play in years. Last three games have been embarrassing! Same mistakes over and over. How the hell does a D1 basketball team shot 30% from the FT line?

Ugly final 12 minutes. Bradley lead 44-41 with 12 minutes left, and over the final 12 minutes they managed only 8 points- a short jumper by Hannah, a late 3-pointer by Deen, and 3 free throws, one by Leons and two late FTs by Ellis.
Akron outscored Bradley over the final 12 minutes 26-8 to pull away and win easily.

Got to have guards to win in D-1 college basketball. Just like last year, the biggest weakness is guard play. Bad passing, bad turnovers, bad shooting, bad FT shooting, no depth at guard (Davis & Burch combined go 2-13), can't shoot 3 pt shots...It is going to be a looooong season.

Portal recruiting has killed Bradley. You have to recruit people that can give you effort consistently and put the ball in the basket.
