Tough loss last night. Is it a game we should have won. Absolutely. A game we played poor defense. Absolutely. Poor free throws shooting. Absolutely. But you can't believe we were not going to lose at some point. Here is a thought, regroup and get our focus again, and how about going on another six game streak.

I would have been fine losing at ISUb saturday, but not taking the loss last night at a sub .500 Murray St. team that hadn't beat anyone yet this year. Idk why this happens. Wardle's teams always seem to start to do something special and then it is like stepping on a rake or Lucy pulling the football out from Charlie Brown.
Thinking is the hardest work, that is why so few people do it. -Henry Ford
Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.
I'm not that concerned with this loss. Murray has a nice little team with 3 solid guards that had very good nights. We didn't play up to par and the FT shooting cost us a closer finish. The refs were so whistle-happy and favored the Racers slightly.
I am encouraged by the small improvements of Meta, the impact that Hannah has made lately on offense, and that Ellis got more PT and played alright. We really need him to step up in the middle of Valley play.
I would rather have won 6 games prior (which we did) to bolster our chances of an At-Large bid later on if we have a strong conf. season.
Big game vs Indy St at Carver on Sat. Get the W and tighten up the D and we'll be fine!
A GREAT start to the season so far!

I think Coach really puts emphasis on getting better as the season goes along. Losing the 1st game of the conf. season is not good, but it keeps the motivation that we will be tested every night on the road!
The freshmen had a rough time last night and it seems we need their contributions more than we thought before the season. If one of them played decent, we may have won.
Overall, I feel the same at times about when things trend upward, we have a setback...however, last season it was pretty special IMO, and we could do the same this year!

We are at home Sat. and now it is a must win. The offense and the defense needs to be better against a better opponent. Make our free throws.
