Season Expectations

Off to a nice start to the season. Hope the team does not let it get to their heads that this is easy and let up. My old coach had a saying written on the chalkboard in the locker room. It said say little, think big, work hard. Hope the team keeps that idea for the season. Need to develop another rotation player or two to keep the starters fresher down the stretch. I see no reason we can't be a contender or win the conference. Here is hoping.

Gotta agree. I am hearing Demarion Burch should be OK to play Monday, and having another guard in the rotation who can contribute will be good.
I watched the Tulane-Sacramento State game tonight (won by Tulane 92-57), and they are a very good team with athleticism, quickness, and good shooting.
They do not have a lot of size, were outrebounded by Sacramento State 37-23, and did not get a single offensive rebound. But they still won by 35 points because of their efficient offense (shot 59%) and their defense that forced 24 Sacramento State turnovers and held them to 35% shooting.
Bradley will need to play a good game, limit turnovers, and shoot well to win Monday.
