I will probably always regret BU's decision to let him go whether that was Sean's plan or not. He had a great attitude, touch, and IMO was the #1/2 encourager of teammates (along with Hannah) in his 1 yr with the Braves.
It was entirely Sean East's decision to transfer in March of 2021. He had been Bradley's starting point guard for the 2020-21 season, and he surprisingly entered the transfer portal on March 16, 2021, after Terry Nolan, Kevin McAdoo, Danya Kingsby, and Antonio Thomas had entered. - https://www.pjstar.com/story/sports/...al/4729342001/

East was projected to be Bradley's starting point guard for the following season (2021-22), and his departure on March 16, 2021 left Bradley with no point guards on the roster for the 2021-22 season.
The coaches were able to sign Mikey Howell on April 13, 2021 - https://twitter.com/MikeyHowell23/st...37056815661058
And then landed Terry Roberts on April 23, 2021 - https://twitter.com/iamterrryy/statu...46691399897097

I appreciated Mikey's role. He was pretty consistent.
TR was a playmaker and instant offense, but I'm much more a DUKE DEEN fan!

Yeah, Terry was the closest thing to Walt Lemon we've had since Walt Lemon, but I'll take the overall game of Duke anytime. And make no mistake, as we all know, Duke can and will light it up when we need it most!

I honestly can't remember a thing about Mikey Howell other than his name. Someone refresh my memory on him.
        Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

“What coulda been” IF there was NO transfer portal…. Wardle’s (Bradley’s) Starting lineup this season may have looked like this:

Terry Roberts - Sean East III
          Zek Montgomery
          Malevey Leons
          Jason Kent
          Reink Mast

I think even if he had to sit out a year Kent leaves to go wherever his HS buddy Avila goes.

Agreed, to bad Kent couldn't talk him into coming to BU

On that point, anyone know if we were even close to landing him?

Nebraska finished the regular season winning 6 of their last 7 games to finish tied for 3rd place, and they land the 3-seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament. Their 22-9 record and 12 Big Ten wins are the second best in program history.
Rienk Mast is the 2nd leading scorer with 12.7 ppg, and the team's top rebounder with 7.8 rpg. He also lead the team in assists (3.0), minutes played 30.2), and Blocks (0.8 ). Rienk and the Nebraska team (NET 37) appear to be a high likelihood to get an NCAA at-large bid for the first time since 2014, even if they don't win the Big Ten Tournament.

IMO they are solidly in the field of 64 even if they don't pick up a win this weekend.

I would agree but then Indiana State has a better net ranking then Nebraska but are boarder line while Nebraska is a solid pick. It's all about the power conferences and money.

Its all about who you beat now. One of Indiana State's best wins was at Bradley. Meanwhile Nebraska has a win over Purdue, and Wisconsin (when Wisconsin was ranked), plus beat Michigan State, a team Indiana State lost to this year.

Aren't we also Indiana State's only quad 1 win? Yeah it is a good win but overall not as impressive as Nebraska's wins over ranked teams.

And they have a quad 4 loss while Nebraska has none. If they didn't have that quad 4 loss I think they would be a lock for the tournament, but instead they are on the bubble.

Correct, BU was a quad 1 win for them, which was I mentioned it, it was one of their best wins this season. Comparably, Nebraska beat the 3rd ranked team in the country, Purdue. The resumes aren't very similar. Do I still think ISUb should make the field? Yes. But Nebraska clearly has a better resume.

I enjoyed reading Bradley's starting lineup if there was no transfer portal! It sounds really great! We did lose some key players and this hurt because we bombed in the portal last year! We need much more depth and lucked out this year with no injuries at MVC tourney. If we can score in the portal this year who knows what could be? We have to wait and see! I just want Bradley to be a special team in the coming years like Indiana State was this year!!! It's pretty special when your net is in the 20's regardless if they make the tourney!!!! But I think they will.....
