It was looking like the MVC might go 8-0 tonight, but then Murray State faded down the stretch and lost at home to Western Kentucky 86-81.

Indiana State with an impressive 39 point win over IUPUI.
Belmont, UNI, and Drake with big wins over non-D1 opponents. Tucker DeVries had 21 points.
Valparaiso had a nice bounce-back win after their loss to IUPUI, beating Green Bay 64-59. Peoria Notre Dame star Noah Reynolds had 24 points and 7 rebounds for Green Bay.
And UIC won at Loyola 72-67. Way to go Flames!
In Northern Iowa's blowout 90-50 win over Division III Loras College, Bowen Born did not play. It is being reported that he has a hip flexor injury, but that he should be able to play in the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis that UNI is playing in next week. Their opening game is against North Carolina Wednesday, Nov. 22.
In the Drake 87-67 win over D2 Southwest Minnesota, 6th year senior Darnell Brodie did not play. It is being reported that he has a leg injury that is not serious, and that he should be able to play in Drake's next game against Oakland on Sunday, Nov. 19, the first of 3 games in the Cayman Islands Classic.
