The only reason given was "This decision has been made in accordance with the university's commitment to upholding the values and standards expected of its staff."
But I would hope we can avoid speculating until more facts are known.

The Bradley women pull out a win this afternoon, beating Central Michigan 65-62- https://bradleybraves.com/sidearmstats/wbball/media
The Braves never trailed, but the game was close much of the way, including CMU cutting the BU lead to 1 point (63-62) with 39 seconds left. But the Braves held on with good defense and a couple free throws making the final score 65-62
Bradley assistant coach Armelia Horton gets the coaching win in the absence of Coach Popovec.
Their next game is Thursday at home against Loyola. Coach Horton was an assistant coach at Loyola prior to coming to Bradley in 2022. She was on the staff there for 6 years (2016-22).

From that, I assume she cannot participate in coaching, either at games or practices, recruit, or any other of her "duties."
