Fantastic news overall. Great to get him locked up for a few more years hopefully.

I don’t know anything about his new contract, but his total compensation for year ending May 31, 2022 was considerably more than $700,000. You can access Guidestar.org to access any nonprofit organization of its 990 filing. I personally do not have any issue of his compensation. He has done an excellent job here, especially following Geno Ford.

These filings are usually a year or two behind so it's doubtful we'll know his salary for a few years. I'm guessing the base probably starts around $750,000 and escalates each year to around $1.1M. I'm guessing incentives and camps give him the opportunity to earn $1M immediately.

ProPublica reports BU's Form 990 showing BW's 2022 compensation as $821,083. He's gotta be pushing 7 figures now...

I would guess that coach was looking more for the security of term rather than bigger dollars. I believe he was already under contract through the 2025-2026 season, so I'm guessing 4 more years at about $900,000 per year.
