Finland, without Ville loses a close exhibition against Czech 68-66 (their best players Markkanen, Jantunen, etc are not with them in these games)

Memphis just got clobbered in their first game in Dominican Republic. Fell behind by 23 early but battled back to within 14 at half.
But The Dominican team is pretty good and coasted to a 7-pt win. Evansville transfer DeAndre Williams, arguably Memphis' best player,
did not play as he is still waiting for an eligibility ruling for 2023-24.

Kansas is live streaming their exhibition game in Puerto Rico - live right now
Kansas is already up 35-18, the Puerto Rican team is really small.
Because they are Kansas and all the media drools over them, you likely will hear & see a lot of reports, Tweets and highlights

also, Nebraska without Rienk win their 2nd game in Spain.

University of Illinois wins their first exhibition game in Spain vs Madrid All Stars 84-73....
(this is the same opponent Nebraska needed overtime to beat)

Dain Dainja with 16 pts, 15 reb
SIU transfer Marcus Domask did not play

UConn beat an apparently bad French opponent by 66 points, 132-66

can't keep up...sorry...so now he's gonna be playing back in the midwest all year?
(btw- did you see the dust-up regarding his statements that Arizona St. won't go to West Virginia- too far)

but Missouri State multi-transfer Dalen Ridgnal started & scored 12 points for his 4th college team, Wichita State, in their
84-70 exhibition win yesterday over a Canadian team, University of Calgary (11-9 last year vs Canadian opponents)
while both are on foreign tours in Greece.

Maybe oughta put his one over in that "Lopsided score" thread....

Univ. of Arkansas women are taking a foreign exhibition tour and they played the Croatian "All-Stars" in Split Croatia.
They had only 9 players dressed.
(Split was the home of The Bulls' Tony Kukoc)
The article notes that Arkansas ran a full court press, played a fast, uptempo offense that got off 101 shot attempts & forced 38 turnovers.
They led 29-0 early on & 43-1 after the 1st quarter and 70-7 at halftime. The Croatian team apparently gave up late and was outscored 23-0 in the final quarter.
-Arkansas won the game by 112 points, 124-12.

If anyone has ever coached at any level, even biddy ball, then you probably agree a lopsided score like this and running up
the score as these women did does not help your team in any way I can think of. If anything, it hurts because they are facing such weak defense that they tend to make plays, passes & take shots that are bad but still work anyway against this opponent, thus developing bad habits. You don't get better beating some hapless opponent by 100 points.

Along the same line- Nebraska women finished up their tour clobbering the Crete All Stars 124-18,

UIC wins again in Spain over Guadalajara, a team from their "EBA" - a 4th tier league of 137 regional city teams
that quality-wise is well behind their top pro league (Liga Endesa), their LEB Gold, and LEB Silver
                          ...
Score was 100-43. I'm guessing they are more on par with a high school team than a college team.

Belmont is playing in Madrid right now
Drake finished their tour in Spain going 1-1 in two exhibition games

US is currently playing a friendly game vs Spain leading up to the FIBA World Cup, and are in a tight
match with their Spanish opponents, despite a reasonably loaded roster of NBA stars....
tied 64-64 near the end of the 3rd quarter

                              Here's an interesting one....

A group of college players is touring Europe and playing club & pro teams.
They are a group called World Exposure Foreign Tour, and players had to raise their own funds for travel & expenses-

and ex-Brave and current Indiana State Sycamore Jayson Kent is with them.
In their first game, Jayson Kent went for a TRIPLE DOUBLE!!
                              He had 16pts, 10rbs and 10 assists
In game 2, he had 14 pts and in their 3rd game he had 17pts 8rbs 5ast.
There's no coverage at all of this group & this info comes from Jayson's social media.
