You know what immediately struck me about those video clips? The lack of physical contact between players. Not a criticism - just an observation. I hope he can make the transition to American college ball. It's a contact sport.Comment

2023 Almar Atlason- 18-year old 6'9" forward, originally from Iceland, and now playing at Sunrise Christian Academy, near Wichita, Kansas.
He has played for the Iceland National Team, and for a couple pro teams, KR Reykjavik in the Iceland pro league, and for an Italian Serie B team. He put up impressive numbers playing for the Iceland National team.

Has anyone seen Icelandic names? Snell and other pbp guys are probably grateful "Atlason" isn't one of those.My first BU hoops game was on 12/30/1963. My dad took me to watch the Braves defeat Arizona 67-59. He helped me get Coach Orsborn's autograph before the game.Comment
