The NCAA ordinarily allows 4 years, but with the Covid rule, players who played in the 2020-21 season get a 5th year.
Ja'Shon already played 5 seasons (see stats), and thus would not have any more eligibility-
Stats- https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba...5/jashon-henry
However, note that last year (2021-22 season) Ja'Shon only played in 12 games. That is close to the maximum number of games that will still allow a player to qualify for a redshirt year. But unfortunately it is one or two too many games. But the NCAA has been somewhat generous in recent years in handing out waivers and redshirt years even when their own rules were exceeded.
So the answer appears to be no, he does not have any more eligibility by the NCAA rules. But some who have contacted me suggest that if somehow he was granted a redshirt year for the 2021-22 season with the concussions he had, maybe there could be a slight possibility.
Personally, I think Ja'Shon was joking.
Ja'Shon's tweet about coming back for a 6th year was in response to a number of tweets this morning by the Home of the Brave NIL Collective.

This is just the beginning.
We’re not done yet.
Stay tuned.
So most likely, Ja'Shon was joking and posted about coming back in response to the new NIL deals his teammates signed.
Da Coach..now that is good news! I am glad that our NIL has had them sign legal documents that they have to abide by at least for awhile. And sounds like a few surprises are coming..Finally some good news. Also it looks like they are expecting positive play from Davis
Steve, is a signed NIL deal a legal document that has to be honored between a given player and Bradley University? Any BradleyFans lawyers have an opinion?

Do this have any meaning for Burch, Linke, or Biliew that they are not included?

I highly doubt that it has any legal effect that would require them to stay at Bradley.

This is true. It's more like a pledge. Nobody would be prosecuted or sued if they don't keep their side of the agreement. But on the other hand, the NIL payments would end if the player left Bradley.

Not a lawyer but I think what Da Coach just said is true. Would not sign for something if they were not going to be around to collect it. However nothing etched in stone
I would think if the said players made an agreement that they are satisfied and staying at Bradley. I would have to guess that the other players may have something in the works or who knows some might be leaving. It is still early as far as deciding on whether or not they wish to transfer out. Before I made that decision I would want to see who the new players coming into the program were which should be happening in the next several weeks. I am hoping we get good news sooner then later.
