  • Thank you, Braves

As the season comes to an end, I'd like thank every member of our Braves -- players, coaching and support staffs, cheerleaders, Bravettes, band, administrators -- for the work you put in throughout the year. We don't see the practices, the time in the weight room, the long days of travel, and so many other sacrifices including time away and far from family -- especially for the international players.

What we do see, and what we're grateful for, are your performances. You entertain us with your abilities, your youthful enthusiasm and joy, and you help us pass the long and sometimes dreary Peoria winters with something exciting to look forward to -- and talk about! -- every week. You gave us a championship season. We're very proud of that, and of you.

Ja'Shon, thanks for the memories. I hope the rest of you return. You've earned a restful and fun off-season. Come back, and give us the privilege and joy of cheering you on even further next season.

    Great post, Songwriter (as always).

I second that! JaShon, you will be missed and Braves Nation will love you forever! You are a warrior!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Thanks to everyone on the team and staff for an entertaining and historic season. Charge on Bradley! (when will someone change the rest of the lyrics?)

Yep! Thanks for a great season, memorable year, and accomplishing something I haven't seen since I was 10! Going to miss Henry for sure and anyone else not back next year.

Thanks to the team for the most fun complete season in about 15 years. It was great to finally play meaningful games in late February. Winning Arch Madness is great, but it would be better to do it next year from the top seed rather than feeling we got lucky or happened to be peaking at the right time.
This year's teams brought back a lot of excitement and interest from the casuals that has been sorely missing.
I hope we can keep it going and continue to build into the future.

A great season and a team I am proud to support. They had a great season and are good people and good students. I hate this day as much as any in the year-it means a BU basketball season is over. Thank you Bradley for all of it. Coach Wardle, Foster, Bargen, Jones and Black and VP of Athletics - Chris Reynolds for leading it. Ja’shon has been so good working through so much and giving so much throughout his tenure. I hope Rienk and other decide to return. We have so many players that can move us forward. There will be changes but all the best for everyone.

Such a magical run this season! THANK YOU! If this team and staff decided they were up for one more, they are realistically in a position to come back and rule the Valley in 23/24.
