The more power conferences lose these games the more the power conferences do to try and keep them out of the tournament. Should be the opposite and earn respect but they want that money more than they do a competitive tournament.

The power conferences run the NCAA. It is a corrupt organization, and the tournament reflects that. And yet I sit here watching it as I type this.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

And they have this lead with DeVries only 1-7 from the field. Broadie is looking like he’s playing against us with 11 points

              Yeah! Fairleigh Dickinson.
#16 seed FDU just knocked off #1 seed Purdue 63-58.
They become only the second #16 seed to upset a #1 seed (the other was UMBC in 2018 over Virginia).

Another Big Ten team craps the bed.

#16 seed FDU is now 2-0 in the NCAA Tournament. They beat Texas Southern Wednesday in the Dayton First Four to advance to Columbus. And tonight they beat #1 seed Purdue.

Ironically, FDU is not the best team in the Northeast Conference, and did not win their conference tournament. They probably didn't deserve to be in the NCAA Tournament.
They lost the Northeast Conference regular season (Merrimack won the NEC conference by 2 games over FDU). And they lost the NEC Tournament to Merrimack 66-67.
However, they got the NEC automatic bid because Merrimack is still in the final year of their transition to Division I, and not eligible for the postseason NCAA Tournament.

And since we best Merrimack pretty handily, that makes us better than Purdue right?

Yep definitely better than any Big Ten team (just don’t look at what happened at Wisconsin).

In all seriousness though, that’s what was so frustrating about getting blown out so often against the best teams we played this year is we shouldn’t be that much worse than them. Next year hopefully this year’s experience will change that.

Big Ten continues to be overrated though, top seed losing to a team that under normal circumstances wouldn’t even be in the tournament. You think the committee and pundits would have learned after last year’s Big Ten performance.

Just don't get how a team moving up from a lower division should not be eligible for a conference championship. Wouldn't they be the ones at the disadvantage? That's right I keep forgetting this is the NCAA we're talking about right.

Just amazing that Drake is leading 55-47 with 5:30 to go and DeVries is 1-10

Ouch hearing how we got leveled by Drake in the conference tournament on national TV with everyone watching. Couldn’t the announcers at least mention we also beat them once?

Drake with no baskets and only 1 point in the last 5:03 of the game!

Massive collapse by Drake against the full court press last few minutes. One basket by Tucker DeVries. And that's all she wrote.
