For those who say the gap between the P5 and mid majors is getting bigger this tourney seems to be indicative that it isn't. In fact it seems UCI and Bradley are the only mid majors that have laid an egg against the P5.

It is true that P5 teams haven’t faired well in the NIT. However, the P5 teams in the NIT finished in the bottom half of their league standings. For the most part, they are played against the regular season champions of mid-major conferences. I wonder how the bottom half of the MVC would fair against these same P5 teams.

My point was that in a different thread, someone stated that it feels like the gap between the P5 and Bradley is growing. It will be rare that the top MVC will ever beat the #1 team in the nation 7 out of 10 times. However, the top MVC teams should be competitive with the P5 on average.

Wisconsin was a tough matchup for Bradley. They are fundamentally sound, get to the line often, and play solid defense. You beat them with good shooting from outside (they tend to collapse the middle). And shooting 22% from 3 won’t cut it. Had we shot closer to 40%, it would have been a very close game as that would have opened things up for our inside game more too.

I will still say that Wisconsin game would have been different if we played at home, maybe not a win but still ticked we got screwed.

Crowl 0-1 from 3pt range. I don't know how we have good defensive statistics over all when it seems like in every loss we have someone have a career night against us that we consistently fail to guard effectively.

Let's face it. One Wisconsin player had the game of his life. He shoots normal and we are right in that game even as bad as we shot.
