So I read that Wisconsins home court is reserved for Wisconsin HS State playoffs next week (for HS practices early part of the week): So it appears Wisconsin can't be a host school (in NIT)

Now Coach you know the NCAA never follows it's own rules..lol

The Wisconsin high school tournament is slated to be from Thursday, March 16 - Saturday, March 18-

The NIT has scheduled first round games as early as the Tuesday following the announcements, but I don't know if that is enough time prior to the state tournament games to allow for a Wisconsin home game. Of course, we don't even know if the NIT selection committee will put Bradley against Wisconsin.

What about a BU/SLU NIT first round game in Peoria? That would be fun.
To me Wisconsin doesn't deserve to be in the NIT.

I bet they match us against Toledo to eliminate one of us from the beginning.

This seems like a possibility. Bradley's NET of 71 is significantly better than St. Louis' NET of 99. However, a 99 NET might not even warrant an NIT bid.
But there are a lot of Power 6 teams with better NET numbers that probably will push Bradley down to being assigned as a road team.

North Carolina did not get an NCAA at-large bid (20-13, 11-9, 7th in ACC, NET 46) and would have been an NIT home team in the first round.
But they just announced that they will not participate in the NIT-

Probably afraid they'll get embarrassed by a mid-major opponent.

Unseeded Bradley plays at #3 seed Wisconsin on Tuesday, at 8:30 pm Central. The game is on ESPN.

Wisconsin is 17-12, and tied for 11th place in the Big Ten with a 9-11 conference record. Their NET is 80.

So apparently they can host. Could Bradley have tickets for sale?

Disappointed to see us not get a top 4 seed. No respect...but hey let's go stick it to them on their home court. Go BU!
