We’ve been down here since Thursday night. The BU faithful have been loud and plentiful and have really helped fire this team up. That said, Drake probably has the second highest following and they will be loud today as well. If you can make it - get down here. It is a special time with a special TEAM

Caesars has it as a pickem. Not that it matters really, because anyone who follows these two teams knows this is a total toss up.

Drake is playing with more energy and enthusiasm than anyone in the tournament so far in my opinion. I don't think I've seen anyone with the motor that Sturtz brings and I'd be lying if I said I felt good going into this game. Drake looks fired up and Brodie is playing great so far, and that is real trouble if he shows up like he did yesterday. All that being said, this Braves team seems to always find a way to get it done and nobody can compare to our defense, though each game so far we've had one player go off on us offensively. We've got to figure out how to stop anyone from getting hot from 3's in this game and if someone does start warming up, we need to switch Malevy onto them immediately.

We haven't played our best basketball yet and we're still in it, so feeling good from that perspective. With Rienk's almost non-existent scoring from yesterday, I expect a serious bounce back game for him and hoping he can bring his A game on defense against Brodie.

I'd start with Zek on Sturtz when he's in the game, and Malevy on DeVries. Connor should be able to hang with Penn, but if not, we may need to switch off to Malevy to guard him and bring JaShon in to handle DeVries. Thank goodness we have so much length and so many good defensive options through our first 6 and including Hannah who really showed up in the ISU Blue game. Am I the only one that thought Malevy's first free throw was short? What a relief!

If we come with energy, nobody can beat us. Let's get it done, boys!

There was an incident in the 2nd half yesterday. I didn't see it, but I'm told Ville was taken back to the Braves locker room and underwent concussion evaluation. He looks fine, but must sit out this game.
