With Reink, who knows what it is he wants....I just think the chances of his growth being stunted is greater by going to a power 5. I mean if he were to stay at BU, he knows hes going to be the man, and has a chance to continue getting better. Like I said, maybe he wants to play in the tourney, and again, going to ANY power 5 school who just plays .500 ball seems to be enough for that. If its $$, then we are not likely going to be able to compete, maybe we can, IDK what the HOTB NIL is offering these guys.
As a comparison, who would have even known who Antoine Davis was if he played for a Power 5 conference?Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Also, #44 on the list is from St Francis (PA), 6'10" Freshman Josh Cohen scored 40 points in a game this year!! We've been in touch with Landon Moore, maybe we should be looking at Cohen as well.
Nevermind....he's committed to Penn State.DUBL R 1

Professional scouts in the NBA and overseas are already familiar with his capabilities. To me, the fact he wants to be challenged by playing against and with, a higher level of competition, says quite a little bit. It isn’t about being the star or dominating. If it was he’d stay at BU, transfer to a lower D1 school or drop down to D2 or D3. Providing he doesn’t suffer a major injury, he will have a professional career as a worst case scenario in Europe. I wish him the best.

Interesting that site lists NIL Value?....is that what they've received? forecasted amount of what they would need to get?....not sure what that means

He averaged 14pts/8rbds in Valley play this year, and frankly outside of Drakes roster, which is mostly gone next year (Brodie etc), there wasn't really a challenge in the post for him in conference. If he truly wants to be challenged for most of the season then he needs better opponents to play against, not 7-8 MVC teams equating to 14-16 games of the season where he won't see a serviceable big inside to play against. This move gives him the opportunity to pick up a 6 figure NIL deal most likely (Terry Roberts did) and play against better competition in almost every game next year, which would prepare him for the pro scene more I would imagine. Unfortunately it is a win-win situation for him to transfer most likely.DUBL R 1

14pts, 8 reb to me is not dominating. I think he has far more than that in him..but its going to take developing the ball handling, face up game, better perimeter 1 on 1 defense and add some explosiveness. I just don't know if that room to develop will be there at a power 5 school. I hope it is for him, I honestly do. It's of my opinion that he would develop more here at BU playing 30 minutes a game plus....especially if it's more of a perimeter game he's trying to develop. If they move him to the perimeter at a power 5, it could get rough real quick, and like i said I hope he doesn't get buried on the bench.
I tend to kind of agree with you here though. My statement was just more from what I think the player's perspective may be about the situation. It could be very likely Rienk struggles to fit at a P5 school, as like he said the he lacks explosiveness and athleticism at his traditional position, and also on the wing. He could be a solid option at the 4 maybe though. If he does go to P5 school, it may not be a program that has a lot of success recently. Maybe something more like Terry Roberts going to Georgia, a program that has struggled in recent years, but has the ability to provide a lot of NIL and plays against good teams.Thinking is the hardest work, that is why so few people do it. -Henry Ford

I am sure there are others. I've heard he has been contacted by over 60 schools, many of them high-majors.
