Could also be Linke. With the development I expect from Jonovic I dont see Linke's playing time getting any better

Bradley fans should be prepared for disappointment, barring some last minute changes of mind.

I'm pretty certain that Linke is appreciative of and focused on his opportunity to earn a degree in Engineering. I don't think he's leaving at this point.

The price we are paying for being good.
Other teams have now noticed our players.
            layers.
To bad we don't have some billionaires step up with money like these big schools do.

Well that sucks! If everyone came back next season, Bradley could have been a borderline top 25 team.

Well this is definitely ominous. It is starting to look like for Bradley to be/remain competitive a strong NIL needs to be put together.

Bradley has what is regarded as the strongest NIL program in the MVC.

We will have to get used to seeing a lot of roster turnover, at least until we see a roster that has already transferred without penalty at least once. Stinks because I really enjoy the roster now and the players that have been here for a while. It’s radla tough environment out there right now. I think if I was Wardle I would be trying to acquire players that have already used their free transfer so there if a better chance they stick around long term. Idk.
Bradley has somewhat profited from the portal but in general has not. Another example of the NCAA pampering the power 5 and being able to cherry pick the players they want. What the NCAA doesn’t understand or really doesn’t care about is people want to see the Cinderella’s play and their ratings would be much better. Other than the fan base from the big schools who really cares about watching the Duke’s and Kentuckys being in there every year. Look at the Big Ten. 1 team left… Breaks my heart…

And even assuming that is true, where has that gotten us? It needs to be one of the strongest in the country.

That's completely unfeasible given players are making $1MM+ at power schools sometimes. I mean if you are the president of CAT and want to set this up then I would encourage you completely, but BU doesn't have the alumni or marketplace to compete in the NIL world with power schools. Being one of the best in the MVC is great IMO.

I never said it was feasible. I merely said for BU to be/remain competitive for their players and other good players they needed to be. I totally understand the current CBB landscape. Unfortunately it will likely always have ebbs and flow. This team probably wins the MVC tourney with Terry Roberts. The reality is that the only way to get/keep top talent is likely going to be $$$, unless they are a local or they are related to the coaching staff. I had hoped being an international student would be one of the ways, but it sounds like that isn't going to be the case.

FWIW, how is it being determined that BU has the strongest NIL program in the Valley? I assumed that they would have a presence at the MVCT and I did not see anyone. However, maybe I just missed it.

There were a lot "Home of the Brave" folks in St. Louis. Here's their website if you haven't seen it.

Home of the Brave is a member-driven organization that provides exclusive benefits to its members, connecting them to Bradley Men’s Basketball student-athletes through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities.

You said the BU NIL needs to be the strongest in the country. I completely disagree, unless your expectations that BU should be Gonzaga.

Where did I say strongest in the country? It needs to be stronger to retain/attract top talent. However, you are right this discussion is also based on expectations.
