Yep - it was good to see some fire from Zeke this year too. He has a calm/composed demeanor but sometimes it's ok to get de-meaner!

I think Zeke's improvement, Malevy's increased aggressiveness and defensive prowess, and Hannah's impact on both ends were the most positive takes on the individual level.

What European Pro Team would want Reink playing on their team next season after viewing Reink's last 2 games? Well - what ever Reink chooses I only wish him the best. Reink was a joy to watch when he is "on" his game.
Rienk was on a professional team as a 17 year old, Donar Groningen. He'll have zero issue finding a place to play professionally.

Nothing official - yet a reliable source indicates Rienk heading to the portal…. We should know for sure soon

Good luck Rienk, whatever you choose.

That would be very disappointing. We just can’t seem to have the outside stuff break our way to get us over the hump.

              POB leaving early

              Covid canceling b2b tourney appearances.

This would be up there in disappointments with the potential this team would have with a healthy Reink all season especially with what we could have coming back.

              I sure hope he stays.

I thought if he wasn't going to play pro in his country he would stay at Bradley. Why would he want to play somewhere else?

‍♂️ - just a guess, greener grass…. I don’t see it much greener than at Bradley (for him) ‍♂️

If this is true, not a great decision. He won't be a focal point elsewhere.

He is a Physics graduate I believe. Maybe, if he is going to stay in college for a master's, he wants a program Bradley doesn't have?

A move like this from Rienk would surprise me. He’s a man, and he’ll make his own decision… and we will do what we do: support our players and our team.

Basketball may be secondary in this decision. As another poster mentioned, maybe he is interested in a graduate program that Bradley does not have.

I think it's going to take some NIL money to keep Reink and Deen here...at least that's what I'm hearing.

Still nothing official & final….. as Coach is still working “to complete what was started” with the team

If we can keep all four other starters here, losing Deen I don’t think is the end of the world. I’d like to get a taller point guard in here to compete for the starters role with him either way. His streakiness, at times erratic play, and poor defense due to size are not ideal for a team that hopes to be in a position to compete for bigger things next year.

I still think with at least Hick, Zek, and Leons back we can build something really good. We have at minimum Jonovic and Hannah for the 5, so while we still need a more athletic bulldozer down low either way, point guard and shooters would be the biggest needs still.
