Most of what Malevy Leons accomplished does not show up in the box score, but he was terrific on defense. He helped neutralize UNI's frontcourt players much of the game, then Coach Wardle switched and put him on Bowen Born the last couple minutes. In the last 2 minutes, Born missed 5 of his last 6 shots, when the game was decided. Malevy had 4 fouls during those final few minutes, and had to defend carefully, but he was able to force Born to alter shots, take shots from farther out, and shoot while on the run, all of which are not his best percentage shots.
Malevy finished with 10 points and 5 rebounds, 3 blocks and 1 steal in 28 minutes. That puts his totals for blocks and steals at 52 blocks and 51 steals for the season.

Should be a huge crowd for Bradley tomorrow.

Hope the 1st game jitters are done. JaShon was really struggling through much of the game but I don’t think we win without him at the end.
