  • 2022-23 Bradley attendance numbers

The attendance for the Bradley-Drake yesterday (2/26/23) game was 10,458.

That boosted the average for this season to 4,947 per game, and a total attendance of 79,150 for 16 home games.
That moved Bradley's average ahead of Evansville, and they ended the season 3rd in the MVC-
    Murray State- average 5,218
    Southern Ill. - average 5,034

Interesting trend there. I'm surprised it took so many years after moving to the Civic Center to get attendance above 9,000, which didn't really happen until the mid-90s. There really was only about a 15 year stretch where attendance was over 9,000, then the fall off in the 2010's was more similar to the 70s/80s numbers. Of course we had the "dark" period driving it down further. but if we can attendance back close to the 7,000 number that's really more in align with the overall historical baseline than 9,000. Hopefully we can get back to 2020 pre-covid numbers and then improve from there some.

Stryker, I love this. I will forever refer to the Geno years as the 'dark period' hereafter!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
