    Happy 41st birthday to Marcellus Sommerville!



    Marcellus and his family now reside back in Peoria, and he is the CEO of Friendship House of Christian Service, a terrific local charitable organization dedicated to helping the people of Peoria.

          Honestly probably my all time best Cellus memory is his effort in the last win for team “Always a Brave.” We were down big in the “elam ending” and Cellus put the team on his back, culminating in a game winning layup. But I have never seen his effort level in the last 10 min of that game matched by any other ball player in any game in my lifetime. Period. It was unreal.
          Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.
