  • Will this have an impact on the MVC TV deal

I usually watch most of the Valley tv games on Bally Sports Midwest out of St. Louis on Directv 671.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

All I know is there needs to still be easier access to games online IMO. It is nice that ESPN+ carries most MVC games now though, as that is easily accessible. Whatever the conference can do to increase exposure is great.

It probably wouldn't affect the MVC deal nearly as much as the Cardinals and Blues games. Networks pay big bucks to buy the rights to those pro games, which in turn draw a lot of advertisers. But from what I've heard in the past, the MVC practically gives away the rights to their games just to get them on those TV networks. And as viewers can see, the ads appear to be pretty low budget types.
