That reduces the likelihood of a BU ISU Friday matchup if the Braves get the 1 seed. While it’d be fun I’d rather not play a big emotional game like that early on in STL.

Yes. Below is the bracket. Because there are so many teams at .500 or better, the 4 top seeds will all likely be matched against pretty good opposing teams on Friday, barring upsets on Thursday.
Example: If Bradley does finish with the #1 seed, the way it is starting to look, the Braves could have to play a team like Northern Iowa, Murray State, or Missouri State in their first game. That is no easy game for their opening match. In previous years, the #1 seed usually got an easy opponent in their first tournament game.
