Equally as shocking to me is the fact that UNI went on a 6 game losing streak. I guess I just thought they were a good team this year. They were 8-3! I've always liked UNI so I'm bummed they have to experience this. If we were on a 6 game losing streak going into March this board would be depressed.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

DC - can we get a post title update please!
9 straight reg. season wins now, which is 1 more than the ‘88 squad, who finished with 8 str8 wins before winning the next 3 to claim both the reg. season and tournament crowns.
9 straight reg. season wins is the most since the magical 1985-86 team who went 32-3, and won 22 straight games! And BU had not won 9 straight games (including post-season) since the ‘88 season! They had 8 str8 wins in 1996-‘97 before losing in the Arch Madness semis to SMS. For as much success as the Braves have had since the mid 80s, this is hard to believe!
8 true road wins matches the ‘88 Braves who had a stellar season with Stan Albeck and of course, The Hawk!

Just incredible to think that we needed to win EVERY game of the last 10 to close out the title on Sunday! When at 6-4. not sure anyone had realistic hopes of winning the Valley, or even finishing Top 3.
ONE MORE win in St Louis matches the 11-game win streak in 1988 that was snapped in the NCAA tourney (1st round to Auburn)

Just think... both losses to Belmont were literally last possession losses where Bradley had good shots to win in the final seconds. Plus it took a super-human shooting night both times by Belmont's Drew Friberg. He was 6-8 from three in Nashville, and 5-9 in Peoria. Those 2 games were two of his best shooting nights all year.
And the final shot by Connor Hickman in the game in Peoria was about 1/2 way down the basket, yet spun out. That would have won the game for Bradley.
The Braves had a nine-point second-half lead but came up short in the final seconds of their first-ever game against Belmont.
And the loss in Nashville was equally painful. Bradley lead most of the game, the fell 1 point behind with 43 seconds left. Then a turnover gave Belmont a breakaway dunk to make it 63-60. But on their final possession, Bradley had 3 three-point shots (2 by Duke and 1 by Hickman) in the final 8 seconds that all came close, but didn't go.
We could play the "what if" game, though Bradley won the MVC anyway, but how nice would those 2 wins have been if the shots had fallen?
I think the NET might be in the 40's and maybe Bradley would be in discussion for an at-large bid.
And, maybe Bradley would have won a couple more early games if they were healthy. The 2 losses in the Paradise Jam to Auburn and Liberty came when Bradley was missing Rienk Mast (knee), Zek Montgomery (wrist), and Ja'Shon Henry (concussion). It's reasonable to think Bradley could have won one or both those game if they were 100% healthy.
