Rooting for MoState here. Need to get the top of the league unclogged here. Right now it feels like the regular season champ will come down to the last weekend of games.

An argument could be made for rooting for SIU to help separate the top 4 from the pack and solidify our bye chances

Hadn't thought of it that way, but you are probably right.

With SIU's win over Missouri State today, they are in a 4-way tie for 1st place with Drake, Belmont, and Bradley.
India a State is alone in 5th place, 1 game back. And Murray State, Missouri State, and UNI are in a 3-way tie for 6th, 2 games back.
Each team now has 6 games remaining in the regular season.

Clay missed his second consecutive game in Sunday's loss against SIU due to an illness, Saluki Sports Radio reports.
              ANALYSIS
Clay is currently the second-leading scorer among a deep Missouri State rotation, sitting at 10.8 ppg through 22 contests. He has been particularly effective of late, averaging 15.9 ppg over nine consecutive games since getting back in the starting five Jan. 1. His next chance to take the court will be Wednesday against Belmont.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Clay is Missouri State's second leading scorer (10.8 ppg) and rebounder (5.7 rpg), and their best defensive player.
Missouri State also played without 5th year transfer Bryan Trimble, who averages 8.0 ppg, and shoots almost exclusively three pointers. He's missed their last few games due to "personal reasons".
Missouri State is due to play at Bradley on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
