Drake finally outlasted UNI to win in 2 overtimes 88-81. The Bulldogs also overcame repeated heroics by UNI's Bowen Born, who hit difficult three point shots at the end of regulation and again at the end of the first overtime to tie the game each time. He ended with 30 points to lead all scorers.

WOW! 3 games go to overtime, 1 to double OT, and 1 game decided at the buzzer. Ben Sheppard was great for Belmont as he had 35 points, 9 rebounds and just 1 turnover. Unfortunately for him and Belmont his final shot of the game hit the front of the rim. Murray St was led by Brian Moore Jr who had 25 points, (on 10-14 shooting), 6 boards and 5 assists. Born was pretty good as well for UNI but Roman Penn was a little bit better as he had 28 points 6 assists and ZERO turnovers. Valpo led by 6 with just 2:16 left but couldn't hold off the Bears. Alston Mason led Missouri St with 27 points and 9 assists. Ben Krikke, who led Valpo with 19 points, had a chance to win it at the buzzer in regulation but had his shot blocked. Missouri State scored the first 11 points of overtime as Valpo missed their first 9 shots. ISU Red scored the 1st 13 points of the game and that was the margin at halftime. UIC kept fighting to get back and finally tied it up at 50 with 2:57 left and after an ISU turnover with :06 to go had a chance to win but Trevante Anderson, who led all scorers with 29 points, missed a 3 at the buzzer. The Redbirds scored the first 6 points of overtime to win. UIC never got the lead in the game. This was the last time that all 12 teams play on the same day until the last game of the regular season on the 26th. Evansville led 12-2 then ISU Blue scored the next 14 points. The Sycamores extended their lead to 14 with 3:44 left then saw The Purple Aces close the half on a 13-0 run to trail 37-36. Evansville tied it up early in the 2nd half but ISU Blue eventually pulled away for the only easy win in the Valley. So excited for the rest of the season to see what happens next.
