That's probably a fair assessment. I was definitely referring to his on the ball defending.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I know that Marcellus bought a few hundred tickets for the students at his school for the ISU game. Not sure if there were other efforts made to get younger kids at the game too, but it was pretty cool of Marcellus to do what he did.

Not sure what you mean... He missed 4 games with the ankle sprain, but he has been cleared to play, and got in the Illinois State game a week ago briefly at the end. He did not play at UIC, but he is able to play now.

Domask and Jones are certainly their 2 key players but we have a bad tendency to make someone else look like a 1st team MVC player so we need to be vigilant in playing defense with our feet and not be reaching with our hands. On offense we have to be strong with the ball and limit our turnovers against SIU's ball pressure. We need to get the ball inside and take advantage of our size and not be too 3 centric. And yes, MAKE OUR FT'S PLEASE!

. Coach has cut the rotation to 8 players (Reink, Hannah, Ja'shon, Leons, Deen, Hickman, Zek, Ville).... I was hoping the ISU & UIC game Davis would play more... I was also hoping those two games allowed the Serbian to take the court. During timeouts at the end of the UIC game... he was stretching & jumping to get warmed up. I suspect the only other game for extended bench play is Valpo the rest of the year.

Well let me correct my last statement --- tonight after Bradley builds up a huge 20+ point lead by halftime! Go Braves!!

Here is their game-by-game high scorers and rebounders-
ESPN has the full 2024-25 Southern Illinois Salukis Regular Season NCAAM schedule. Includes game times, TV listings and ticket information for all Salukis games.

In their 23 games this season, Marcus Domask was the high scorer 9 times, Lance Jones was high scorer 12 times, and earlier in the first few weeks of the season, Xavier Johnson and Dalton Banks were high scorers once each.

Leading rebounder is Marcus Domask with 6.0 rpg. JD Mulia averages 4.9 rpg, and no other player averages 4 rpg.
SIU has been outrebounded by opponents this season, and they currently rank 12th and last among MVC teams in total rebounds, and last in offensive rebounds-
The official 2022-2023 Men's Basketball cumulative statistics for Missouri Valley Conference

Their average of 31.4 rebounds per game ranks 330th in Division I, and their average of 6.7 offensive rebounds per game ranks 352nd among 363 Division I teams.

SIU play a relatively small lineup-
Starters in their last 5 games have been- 6'6" Marcus Domask, 6'1" Lance Jones, 6'1" Xavier Johnson, 6'8" Clarence Rupert, and 6'3" Jawaun Newton.
Top reserves in minutes played are- 6'2" Trent Brown (17 mpg), 6'2" Dalton Banks (16 mpg), 6'8" JD Muila (16 mpg), and 6'7" Troy D'Amico (16 mpg, though he's played less lately).

So hopefully, Bradley's size and rebounding can help neutralize their offense and control the boards.

That's what I was referring to (the injury). I saw him in the huddle against ISU at the end like he was getting in, but wasn't sure if it actually happened cause I missed him ever actually being in the game. I think his shot could still be valuable before the year is up or if there are any injuries, and wish he would get some minutes still.

Only ESPN+? I was hoping to go out and watch it tonight. I’m also a little annoyed the papers won’t post Bradley scores in Chicago ST and Trib. They used to.

I wonder if they're still thinking of redshirting him. I'm not sure of the rules, but I think it's based on how many games he plays in. Not sure if there's a cutoff date, either, but I'll bet the Coach knows. Coach - do you know the redshirt rules for NCAA men's basketball?

Yes I was surprised. However, SIU did just lose to ISU, and they play a small lineup. If BU can play above average defense and use their athleticism and size, BU should win the game.

Agreed. It'll be interesting to see if Zek continues his incremental improvement. My pick to click is Connor Hickman

I would love to see Davis get more minutes, but don't think that'll come until next season.
He could be our best 3-point shooter. Great stroke and confidence. He has played very poised in his limited time as a freshman.
