Just an assumption. Most of our players were already on the team prior to the rules allowing pay for play, so just assumed they weren't getting much if anything as they were already here, while this guy had to be enticed to join the team.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

This is absolutely untrue. No one was calling for Coach JS's head after that NIU disaster.

Sorry, may not be, thought I read a comment about that on this forum at some point.

Main point wasn't about the coach though, it was about ISU Blue being beatable.

Of course the Trees are beatable - you can say the same thing about every team in the MVC. This League is a meat grinder. But right now, the Trees are playing well. I think you can win the MVC with 5 losses. The game against you guys and SIU on the 11th will go a long way to bring some clarity.

The Sycs will be middle of the pack by the end of January. They may lose their next 6 in a row

This quote from PhiAlphaBoy is starting to look pretty good, so far. After starting the MVC schedule 6-0, the Sycamores have now lost 5 games in a row to drop to 6-5- middle of the pack. They play at home Saturday against UNI.

I also thought Indiana State would have a tougher time with this latest stretch, but PhiAlphaBoy has nailed it so far.
