For the record, the guy that slipped on the frozen urine caught himself before falling! We were indeed verbally assaulted by a really obnoxious drunk guy outside the arena after losing. Not a great memory!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

That is all very disturbing to hear, we always took the L (Red Line) that drops off right across the street from the arena, so never experienced the parking issues. The worst treatment I ever experienced was, as is true for most BU fans, at ISU. Have been hit with thrown food, drinks, spit & garbage, courtesy of their fans. Sadly, I know most of their fans are probably nice people but their worst are the ones that stand out among any bad fans I have experienced anywhere. I went pretty regularly when Bradley played down there from the Versace era, thru the Ken Kavanagh era and into the JKG era. (Kavanagh always made sure the BU fans got good seating and were monitored by members of the Athletics staff so they didn't get obnoxious treatment) - but JKG & MC didn't care and only cared about getting good seating for a handful of the people who greased their palms the most. One year when "Superfan" Jay was still alive, he (and I) and a few BU fans right behind the bench were cheering very loudly, only to have Mike Cross come up and scold everyone & instruct the BU fans to quiet down. That's when I decided I would join the bandwagon to withhold my donations & write to a few Board members until JKG & MC were gone. And it worked.

Hmmm worst venue for a BU game that I've been in attendance was BU v. Illini in old Chicago stadium, 1970s. BU trounced the Illini but the facility was rancid and walking back to our car was treacherous.

The UNI Dome is probably the strangest venue I've ever been in for a basketball game. This was back when UNI would get a couple thousand for a game and then plop a basketball court inside a football stadium. It was just a weird environment.
I forgot that I have been to a few games in Omaha at the old Auditorium downtown to see the CU games.

Ah, yes, the old Omaha Civic Auditorium. Not a bad place to watch a basketball game. Those Dana Altman teams of the late '90's and early 2000's were almost unbeatable there.

Thanks for the story. I always loved seeing Jay at the games. He went through a fun period where he was shooting hoops and lost a lot of weight, it was fun seeing him even more energetic after he started doing that.

On paper Bradley is the better team. No excuses... let's beat these guys! Regarding the venues... I loved beating Illinois State at Horton Fieldhouse. The ISU students flipping us off just made it more satisfying. They sure hated us! Great venue!

Mast sitting with 2 fouls killed the Braves. Montgomery and Hickman shooting 3's is not working. Bradley desperate at center...Ahmet already in.

Not great effort either. This is a game that separates first place contenders from 4th/5th place contenders and this is our effort!? Need much better in the second half.
