I don't know how involved Bradley was with Normal Community 6-10 big man Kobe Walker, but Walker had committed to Central Michigan way last fall. However, due to a coaching change there, Kobe Walker just re-opened his recruitment.
Walker averaged 19.1 ppg and 12.2 rpg in his high school senior season., and we need size.....

I'll be honest he looks like a below the rim plodder who wouldn't contribute much in spite of his size. E.g. a poor man's Jeff Rabey.

Ha- LOL...and once more, very few people here recall, that Jeff Rabey, who was close to Al Biancalana his coach when Rabey played for Molinari,
called in LIVE I was listening) during the 2004-2005 basketball season during the Dave Snell/Jim Les weekly radio program- and he did so just to slander Jim Les
and make ridiculous allegations against him, causing the WMBD people to cut him off mid-sentence. Then within a matter of months, after Al
also got irate at a practice and walked off, NCAA field investigators descended unannounced in an unprecendented manner onto the Bradley campus,
to dig like hell to find evidence of illegal practices or NCAA violations (supposedly based on the claims of TWO "unnamed people".
Of course the NCAA team found nothing so they hammered Bradley over the only thing they could devise- salary overpayment to POB & Will Franklin during summer jobs.
Ken Kavangh seemed to know exactly who those two unnamed people were.who ratted on BU. He also knew & confided in some,
who engineered the tampering in 2002 with Joah Tucker to get him to transfer to UW-Milwaukee.
D1 portal- Malik Thomas- 6'5" senior guard at University of San Francisco. He spent 2 seasons at USC and the last 2 seasons at USF He averaged 19.9 ppg and 3.9 rpg, and he shot 39.4% from three this past season. He could have as additional year of eligibility left if he is granted a waiver for his freshman year when he only appeared in 9 games. However, some of those games were too late in the season to automatically qualify.

When the "below the rim plodder " Kobe Walker from Normal Community played Peoria's Dietrich Richardson he had 29 points and 15 rebounds. Richardson had 11 points. Richardson is a great shooter. He drove to the basket once in the game and Walker pushed the ball to the floor with Richardson under it. I think there are teams that could use a plodder like that.

Coach, is Bradley still after any more High School recruits?
There are still a few, I believe. But it looks like the emphasis now is on big men with the capability of contributing right away, such as transfers and juco kids..
Things are quiet and way to Secret Service stuff. We need a few coaches and have way to many spots to get. Like the incoming recruits but my god we need inside players. If we are counting on meta to be a beast and Thomas to be the player he was against George Mason then we are in trouble.
The recruiting will pick up when the coaches can resume in-person contact and get players on campus for visits.
I don't think there is a need to panic yet. Has any MVC school signed a better recruiting class than Bradley? Are there any impact players that other MVC schools have landed from the transfer portal?
The portal has only been open slightly more than 2 weeks, and the season just ended 2 weeks ago. Portal recruiting season will just be taking off once the dead period ends. Recall that Duke Deen and Christian Davis didn't commit until late April, and Bradley did not sign Malevy Leons until May.

if you look on the Transfer portal list the majority of the players have not committed yet
