We need to go after one year players if they are a good fit and have proven to be able to play at this level. Having to recruit your own players year after year means there is nothing wrong bringing in good ones that will be here a short time. This really comes down to if they are good enough to help your team out immediately. That is the new blue print in college sports. D2 portal- Lewis Rowe- 6'10" post-grad forward at D2 St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. He has one season of eligibility left. He has played in his home country of Australia, then one season at VMI, then a season at New Mexico junior college, then the last 2 seasons at D2.St. Edward's University.
he averaged 13.0 ppg and 6.2 rpg this season.
