"Peoria High senior guard Leshawn Stowers describes his Bradley official visit as "great"--plans official visits to Illinois State, SIU, Wyoming and Miami, Ohio."
He says he will take all 5 visits and will make his decision in October.
I really really hope we can keep him HOME! This would mean so much to the city of Peoria! It's been far to long since BU was able to keep a very good talent home! This could start a trend in our favor for years to come! I've always known Peoria has had as good a talent as most of the country. I always thought how great Bradley would have consistently been in these later years if only we could keep the talent!!!! Peoria is a great city now which of course wasn't always the case! I hope Coach never gives up a chance especially in this transfer portal to get excellent talent back home!
This would be great for him and Bradley if he chooses to play for the Braves. Him and Zobrist would make for a great pair of guards on our team. It is so important to have good guards in the Valley. I do not think though he has made his choice because of the question marks. Whatever it takes to finalize the deal needs to happen soon.

To be fair, unlike the 1990's and early 2000's, there has not been a great deal of D1 talent coming out of Peoria high schools in recent years.
What Peoria players would fans have liked Bradley to get in recent years that they didn't offer and 1) that were not high-major recruits and that they had a realistic chance to land and 2) were difference-makers and would have made BU better?

I'm not sure this constitutes a commitment yet, since he adds four question marks. But he seems to like Bradley. And I suspect his mom would like to see him stay at home.
We need to get Leshawn. Big time player. His coach went to Bradley, our AD went to central. Several former players from central. His AAU mate coming to BU. BU in his HOMETOWN!!
I mean it feels right!
